Guidelines for Contributing to an editorial Article

Aim-To generate step wise scholarly writing skills, involved in editorial writings for publication. Methodology- In order to search literature articles pertinent to writing scholarly editorial writings for publication, a scientific search was carried out across MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, PubMed and SCOPUS. Results- The initial search yielded 27 articles. After applying filters as articles published in 2000-2022, English language & after duplicates were removed, a total of 5 articles were included in this article for guidelines. Conclusions-Editorial writing is a prestigious work done by expert in the subject area and is supposed to be the opinion maker for the journal and article readers.
