Abstract

Physiotherapists are indispensable in the early detection and intervention of disabilities. Their expertise in human movement, rehabilitation, and functional recovery enables them to identify and address potential issues long before they evolve into full-fledged disabilities. By embracing a more proactive, preventive approach to healthcare, physiotherapists can significantly reduce the burden of disability, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to healthier, more active communities. It is time to recognize and harness the potential of physiotherapists as key players in the early intervention and prevention of disability.
